Pop Quiz collects: a teacher's name, school email, and (for Classroom-linked classes) the course and roster information Google Classroom returns during sign-in; a student's school email and the class they belong to; the exam papers a teacher uploads and the questions, screenshots, and answer keys extracted from them; and a student's quiz attempts, answers, and timing.
This information exists solely to run the app's own features: building and grading quizzes, gating student sign-in to the right class, and showing a teacher their own class's results. It is never used to train external AI models and never sold.
Exam papers and their questions are shared across every teacher using this app (a shared question bank — see the app's own description of this on its landing page). Student results are visible only to the teacher who owns that class.
Classroom and Sheets access is used only for the specific action a teacher takes (syncing a roster, pulling a course list, exporting a results sheet) and is never used to browse or read a teacher's other Drive/Classroom content.
