Pop Quiz

Turn past exam papers into ready-to-run, multiple-choice class quizzes.

Why choose Pop Quiz?

Shared Question Bank:Upload a past paper once and every teacher can build quizzes from it. Duplicate papers are detected automatically, so the bank never fills up with the same exam twice.
Reviewed Before It's Live:A paper's screenshots and its answer key are confirmed before it can ever be used in a quiz — no blanks, no surprises mid-quiz.
Google Classroom Built In:Sync a class roster or pull a course straight from Classroom, and gate student sign-in by class or school email domain.
Quiz Modes That Fit the Moment:Timed, locked-down, retry-on-a-wrong-answer, or require a written explanation — pick the mode per quiz, per class.
Real Reporting:See the most-missed questions and time spent per question, then export a formatted class report straight to Google Sheets.

Step 2: Select a Subject

The Document Bank is one shared library of exam papers from every teacher. Pick a subject to see its papers.

Step 3: Add a Paper to the Bank

Add a paper to the bank

Each paper is split into questions once and shared with every teacher. Papers already in the bank are detected and declined automatically. Select several PDFs at once to add them all — each stays hidden from quiz building until its own screenshots and answer key are confirmed in the Document Bank below.

Step 4: Confirm Screenshots

Step 5: Answer Key

Only multiple-choice questions need a correct answer here — extended-response questions are marked by hand and are skipped. Upload the paper's marking guidelines to auto-fill these, or set them yourself; either way, it's saved for every teacher using this paper, not just right now.

Batch Upload Answer Keys

Select every marking-guidelines PDF you have at once. Each is matched to a paper awaiting its answer key by the year in both filenames — check (and correct, if needed) every match below before uploading; a match is never assumed where more than one paper shares the same year.

Step 6: Build a Quiz

Only multiple-choice questions can be added to a quiz — extended-response questions stay in the Document Bank for reference.
